Native to the valleys of the Himalaya, Sambac Jasmine is different to Jasmine Grandiflorum due to its smaller, fuller flowers as well as a fruity, green scent with orange blossom notes.
You need 10 million flowers to produce 1kg of Jasmine Sambac Absolute!
This absolute started being used in the 1980s. Rich, sensually fresh, it goes perfectly with fruity or marine notes. It can also easily go with woody or oriental bottom notes.
This year’s harvest, which began in early March, was marked by a considerably lower yield than in previous years. However, the production of 2019 should be higher than the previous year.
