Promotion of circular economy: the distillation waste is delivered to the company that owns the forest for the production of biomass, and the leaves are collected as a secondary product.
Leaves are a secondary product in this supply chain. Their use avoids waste of raw materials and does not increase the number of trees cut for biomass production.
All plantations are certified by the FSC – Forest Stewardship Council – and PEFC – Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification – which promote sustainable forest management.
Organic certification guarantees the protection of the climate and the environment, the conservation of soil fertility, the preservation of biodiversity, the respect of the natural cycles of plants, the absence of the use of chemical and synthetic products, transparent labeling and traceability.
Established since 1991 in Almaden de la Plata, at the North of Seville in Spain, our factory has developed a strong expertise in distillation and rectification: team of expert technicians and dedicated rectification units.
Our rectification unit has been certified organic by Ecocert according to the guidelines of the European certification.
Fragrance side
Eucalyptus essential oils are used in soaps, in detergents but also in some room candles.
Well-being side
Expectorant, respiratory decongestant, sanitizing. Facilitates concentration, lucidity to assist with intellectual work or to combat dispersion and confusion.

In Spain, Eucalyptus globulus is cultivated for biomass, the leaves used for the production of essential oil being a secondary product. Therefore, the harvesting of the leaves follows the rhythm of the biomass production, which can be done in four ways.
The first type of plantation consists of a 6-year cycle: from the fourth year after planting to the sixth, the trees are cut for biomass and the leaves used for distillation. In the sixth year, the tree grows back and a selection of shoots is made.
For the second method, the trees are cut when they are 1 or 2 years old, with many shoots, and taken to the factory to be cut. The shoots will be used for distillation.
The third method of biomass production is the most traditional. When the landowners cut the trees for biomass, the essential oil producer goes behind them to remove the fallen branches and leaves and make bundles.
The fourth method is a mechanical method. A tractor picks up the biomass and people cut it, or put it in the chopper. The leftover branches are used for distillation.
We rectify the essential oil in our factory in Spain, certified organic by Ecocert, to standardize the eucalyptol rate to 80%.
